The project involved Masterplanning and Landscape Architecture for a 5* star hotel & Villas resort. The program included: restaurants, spa, riverine promenades, open air mountain activities, sports terrains, agricultural zones and beach side relaxation zones. The resort is situated in the Messenian gulf of the Peloponnese. The project undertook a sustainable approach in order to integrate the private development scopes within the sensitive riverine environment and the coastal scape. The arraying and layout of the built environment follows a logic of swales that contribute to the sustainable drainage of the site whereas the recovered zone of dunes and open fields restores the connectivity with the natural seascape.
