Concept Design documents with advanced construction detailing and tendering information where prepared after the municipality’s request to include our winning design proposal

(A’ prize in Architectural Ideas Competition) for Filothei Park in the submission documents of the funding program “Green Life in the City”. The program was jointly designed and implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Attica Region in the framework of the EPSA 2007-2013. Its goal was to improve the daily lives of citizens living and working in Attica, especially in the deprived areas with relatively high population density and severe environmental problems. Our design proposal unveils a part of the stream of Podoniftis which is currently channelized in a closed concrete section profile underneath the urban lot. Water, sun, earthmounts and a linear canopy that incorporates PV panels on its structure become the components for the regeneration and recovery of this neglected fringe.
