Pobřežní město Hambantota na jihu Srí Lanky bylo zcela zdevastováno vlnou tsunami v prosinci 2004.Zabývala jsem se programem jeho obnovy s cílem vytvoření krajiny umožňující oživení místní ekonomiky a její rozmanitosti jako udržitelného a flexibilního kompromisu mezi formováním životního prostředí a ekonomickým růstem. Filamentous / The coastal town of Hambantota in the southern part of Sri Lanka was completely destroyed by the tsunami of December 2004. I was engaged in the program concerned with its regeneration, the creation of a landscape that diversifies and fosters the local economy, and that would permit a sustainable and flexible compromise between environmental conditioning and economic growth.
